ISLAMABAD (PEN) :According to a report published in Chinese media, CPEC has helped Pakistan accomplish its SDGs goals by contributing to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030 Agenda. Although CPEC is projected to help Pakistan advance economically, it also has the potential to help Pakistan accomplish a number of SDGs. Three out of 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations Agenda 2030 are highly relevant to the construction and running of CPEC. Furthermore, CPEC has proven to be Pakistan’s most cost-effective resource. Chinese FDIs are also identifying practical measures in Pakistan in terms of CPEC investments, developments, commercial prospects, job creation, and social service innovation.
