LAHORE (PEN) : The Regional Integration Centre (RIC) at Punjab University collaborated with the Chinese Embassy to host a three-day international conference on the “Significance of the Belt and Road Initiative in Regional Connectivity.” Speaking at a conference, experts predicted that the BRI plan would boost the economies of the majority of the world’s nations, bringing stability and prosperity to the region. Speaking at the opening session, Consul General Zhao Shiren claimed that the project’s sole purpose was to better the economies of the majority of the participating nations. He added that CPEC will generate fantastic chances for foreign direct investment in Pakistan and that the programme would bring wealth and stability to the countries in the region.
