During the meeting, the two sides agreed to start weekly flight operations between Tashkurgan and Kashgar, establish a joint small business bank, and create a trade zone in GB to promote border trade. The Tashkurgan authorities pledged to lift travel restrictions within Xinjiang for GB border pass holders, and China assured GB of equal benefits in the upcoming China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) projects. The delegation also discussed the establishment of fruit and mineral processing zones and scientific assistance in agriculture, food, and climate change.
