Pakistani delegation visits Deep Space Exploration Laboratory in China
ISLAMABAD (PEN) : A Pakistani delegation, led by Mohammad Yousuf Khan, Chairman of Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission, visited China’s Deep Space Exploration Laboratory in Hefei to enhance space collaboration. Discussions with Wu Weiren, Director of the Laboratory, focused on deep space exploration missions, including China’s lunar and planetary projects. The meeting highlighted the inclusion of Pakistan’s ICUBE-Q CubeSat in the Chang’e-6 mission, expanding cooperation. Both sides expressed a commitment to strengthen bilateral ties in lunar exploration. The laboratory’s initiative to establish an International Society for Deep Space Exploration was discussed, fostering scientific research and academic exchanges. The visit signals a reinforced space partnership between Pakistan and China, fostering future collaborations for mutual scientific and technological advancements.
