ISLAMABAD (PEN) : In a bid to ensure transparency and accuracy in the electoral process, Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja has issued directives regarding the proper handling of Form 45, underscoring its significance in the compilation of election results.

Addressing the importance of Form 45, also known as the ‘Result of the Count’, the Chief Election Commissioner emphasized its role in providing detailed information about polling stations, constituency names, registered voters, total votes cast, and the distribution of votes among candidates.

Here is the list of all key forms used during the election procedure:

Form 45

Form 45, accompanied by other essential documents such as Form 46, Form 47, Form 48, and Form 49, constitutes a crucial part of the election process, facilitating the accurate compilation and dissemination of election results.

Form 46

Form 46, containing vital information about received and removed ballot papers, along with details of invalid and canceled ballots, plays a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity of the electoral process.

Form 47

Meanwhile, Form 47 provides insight into the unconfirmed results of the constituency, including the number of votes cast and canceled.

Form 48

Form 48 emerges as the cornerstone for preparing election results, containing comprehensive data on the number of votes garnered by each candidate in a particular constituency.

Form 49

Finally, Form 49, also referred to as the Final and Official Result Form, is published in the Gazette of Pakistan, featuring the names of candidates, affiliated political parties, and the total votes obtained in the constituency.
