TARAR KHAL – Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that he does not know where it came from that he wants to make Azad Kashmir a province of Pakistan. He promised there would be a referendum in Kashmir, with people free to choose the future of their nation.
Addressing the public gathering at Tarar Khal in Azad Kashmir on Friday,he said that the people who have the government in Azad Kashmir are making noise of rigging. The PML-N has a habit of playing with its own umpires, they have not done anything honestly till date.
Imran Khan said the unprecedented sacrifices being rendered by the Kashmiri people will not go in vain and time is not far when they will decide their future.
He said international community through UN Security Council resolutions have promised to give the right to self-determination to Kashmiri people.
The Prime Minister strongly rejected the motion that PTI government is mulling to make Azad Jammu and Kashmir a province of Pakistan.
He said we are making strenuous efforts for the last one year to bring election reforms to make election process transparent and opposition has been invited to sit with government for this purpose.
Imran Khan said Electronic Voting Machines will bring an end to rigging allegations and help in holding transparent elections.
He said the PTI government will steer Azad Jammu and Kashmir from poverty and sense of deprivation.
He said Ehsaas programme is being launched in the region and people will be given health cards and subsidy will be provided on edible items to facilitate people.
