Maryam Nawaz hiding behind continuous delays in cases: Farrukh Habib
ISLAMABAD (PEN) – Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Farrukh Habib said on Wednesday that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz is hiding behind continuous delays in cases.
In a statement, the minister said that Sharif family should appeal for hearing of cases on daily basis instead of adjournments. They come to power only to make money, he alleged.
Farrukh Habib further hoped for strict accountability and sentences for the Sharif family.
The reaction came after Maryam Nawaz said that reconciliation is one thing, the government shouldn’t even be talked with as it fears from those who speak truth.
She said that the government has set an example of anti-public policies. We are trying to put a fullstop at government’s corruption plan in the next general election, she added.
She further said the performance of the government in three years should be termed as a disaster. Never in the history of Pakistan has ever been elected a more incompetent government, she added.
