Ambassador Nong Rong appreciates the pace of work at CPEC energy project

ISLAMABAD(PEN): While talking to media, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Nong Rong said that CPEC energy project in Sindh, Thar Energy Limited (TEL) Power Plant is making steady progress. He also appreciated the joint efforts by Chinese and Pakistani staff in making the project a success and abiding by all the SOPs. The TEL power plant is a 330MW mine-mouth lignite-fired power project being built by Thar Energy, but is owned by Hub Power Company (Hubco), China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC), and Fauji Fertilizer Company (FFC). This power plant also has associated equipment and systems such as cyclones, air pre-heaters, and water walls.
