ISLAMABAD (PEN): During a visit to the commissioning ceremony of Chinese-origin High to Medium Air Defence System (HIMDAS) into Pakistan Army Air Defence, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa highlighted that the strategic defence parternship between the two countries is essential for regional stability. According to a press release by the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), General Bajwa said that the induction of high-tech systems will make Pakistan’s air defence impenetrable. Earlier, COAS Bajwa visited Gujranwala to take part in the commissioning of a state-of-the-art Chinese origin VT-4 Tank simulator.
