LAHORE (PEN) : Zhao Shiren, the People’s Republic of China’s new Consul General in Lahore, took office vowing to improve relations between China and Pakistan, particularly in the Punjab region, and to play an important role in bolstering CPEC with new energy and fool-proof security. At a ceremony conducted at State Guest House Lahore, Zhao Shiren presented his letter of appointment to Ali Faraz, Deputy Chief Protocol Camp Office Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Lahore.
