KARACHI (PEN) : A conference on the effects of the China-Pakistan Free Trade Agreement (CPFTA) on bilateral trade and investment was organised by the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) in association with the China Study Centre, the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi, and the policy advisory board of the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI). The implementation of the CPFTA and an outline of bilateral commerce between Pakistan and China were delivered by rfan Iqbal Sheikh, president of the FPCCI. Participants in the conference included trade associations, research institutes, stakeholders, and pertinent exporters.
