ISLAMABAD : According to Ahsan Iqbal, the Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives, the government is dedicated to implementing socio-economic reforms, with a focus on modernizing agriculture through the use of smart agricultural practices to increase production. He also said that Pakistan has been striving to shift its identity from a security state to an economic state, and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has played a significant role in achieving this goal by attracting global investments to Pakistan.
