ISLAMABAD (PEN) : China has praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s recent affirmation of Pakistan’s commitment to advancing the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). Lin Jian, spokesperson for China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, commended Sharif’s positive remarks, emphasizing CPEC’s significance within the Belt and Road Initiative. Highlighting past achievements and the recent 10th-anniversary celebration, Jian reiterated China’s readiness to work with Pakistan in realizing the objectives outlined by both countries’ leaders, aiming for high-quality development and broader cooperation across various sectors to enhance mutual benefits.
